Taima Dugan
Professor

Taima Dugan is an Everything Artist, no material is outside of her range of interest and she is always excited to explore new ways of making. She holds a Bachelors in art history from San Francisco State University, and a Masters in Fine Arts from Massachusetts College of Art and Design.

She began teaching in 2020, as a Restorative Arts teacher to people transitioning out of prison and survivors of domestic violence. She also spent two years teaching art to kids after school. Her experience in restorative arts and kids art classes, allowed her to define her teaching practice with empathy and adaptive teaching methods. She believes that there are no wrong answers in art, and teaches art as a creative way of life, not just a way of creating.

In her downtime Dugan crochets clothing for herself and others, as well as make and design cross stitch patterns.
