Dr. Le’Marqunita De'sharay Lowe is a Scholar, Educator, and Founder. Dr. Lowe's educational background specializes in social justice, leadership and change, publishing, and anthropology. Dr. Lowe's educational background includes a Bachelor of Liberal Studies from Bowling Green State University with a focus on political science and ethnic studies. Dr. Lowe received a Master of Single Subject Teaching from the University of Southern California Rossier School of Education. Dr. Lowe has a PhD in Leadership and Change: Educational Justice and Equity from Antioch University. Currently, Dr. Lowe is enrolled as a post-bachelorette Anthropology, Culture, Discourse, and Society Concentration at Cal State Eastbay. She is a Student Academic Success Specialist at San Jose State University in the Charles W. Davidson College of Engineering Student Academic Success Center. Dr. Lowe is excited to teach in CAA's business and leadership/civic departments. She is passionate about the arts and equity.


Dr. Lowe's publication background includes being the Founder, CEO, and Editor-in-Chief of LDL Magazine, a publication celebrating community organizations, educators, and entrepreneurs. Her work focuses on providing a platform for voices often underrepresented in mainstream media, creating a space that is inclusive, real, and down-to-earth. Dr. Lowe's career is deeply rooted in education and community engagement. With a background in research and teaching, she has consistently sought to bridge gaps in access to information and opportunities. Her research interests span various fields, with a particular focus on how education and community involvement can drive social and economic development. Through her work with LDL Magazine, she has successfully combined her research interests with her passion for storytelling to inspire and uplift others.
