The newly formed workforce development programs are taking shape at CAA! Students at CAA can apply and participate in the Cardinal Apprenticeship Program (CAP). This pathway will provide opportunities to gain valuable workplace skills through shadowing and assisting CAA staff and on-the-job training toward the certification of Teacher Aide 1 or Office Manager/Reception.
We are currently not accepting candidates for CAP. Dates for new CAP candidates are forthcoming.
Empower Inclusion Apprenticeship Program provides opportunities for West Valley Community College students to gain essential skills related to becoming a teacher's aide or office administrator.
Our program is committed to fostering inclusivity by offering unique pathways to those from underserved populations. Whether individuals are navigating disabilities, re-entering the workforce after an extended absence, facing economic disadvantages, or belonging to other marginalized groups, Empower Inclusion strives to create a supportive and empowering environment.
Through specialized training modules, mentorship programs, and hands-on experiences, our apprenticeship initiative aims to equip participants with the expertise needed for success in these critical roles. By prioritizing diversity and inclusion, Empower Inclusion not only enriches the educational landscape but also contributes to building a workforce that reflects the strength and resilience of our entire community.
We are Not accepting applications at this time.
