Nicole Ferguson
Director, School of Visual Arts

Nicole was born with creativity in her soul.

Nicole was born with creativity in her soul. Growing up, she was always creating art or making something. Her desire to become an animator led her to the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Nicole graduated with a B.A. in Fine Art- illustration, painting, and sculpture.

She began showing paintings in galleries throughout the Bay Area and had the amazing opportunity to create and paint murals in Haiti. In 2011, Nicole joined CAA as an instructor and created their Visual Arts department. Months later, she began teaching art for Morgan Autism Center in San Jose where she trained to work with adults and children impacted by autism. Throughout her art career, she has worked with senior citizens and began her private art business for children with special needs. Nicole shared there Is no better gift than creating art with amazingly talented artists. Their honest and heartfelt artwork is inspiring. When she is not painting, Nicole spends time with her family and two Boston Terriers.
