John Heathcote

Jon is a gifted historian who is a former student as well as being a student at DeAnza College.  Jon is passionate about history, poetry, and gaming.  He is gentle, compassionate, responsible and makes a superb site supervisor and Associate Professor at College of Adaptive Arts.

Hannah Thrasher

Hannah is an Associate Professor and the resident Stage Manager of the School of Theatre. With a long and robust background in professional technical theatre specializing in stage management and sound design, Hannah joined CAA’s Superstaff in the summer of 2017 and works to provide the theatre students with a professional theatrical experience. She is happy to use her talents and skills to enhance the educational and performance experience of CAA’s students and productions.

James Fu

James is a new Site Supervisor and Associate Professor at College of adaptive Arts. He started out as a volunteer and did an outstanding job in this capacity. He has a degree in history from San Jose State University. CAA is so proud to have in on our CAA Superstaff Mountain Movers Team.

Angel Gonzalez

Angel joined the CAA Superstaff this past summer and has truly blossomed and helped this organization grow and become a most welcoming environment.  Angel is also a student at San Jose City College studying Psychology and Leadership.  Angel is gifted in putting students and everyone at ease and bringing out the best in us all.  We don’t know how we ever ran this college without Angel’s warm and welcoming smile.

Anthony Nguyen

Anthony Nguyen is a Marketing and Social Media Specialist at the College of Adaptive Arts. He graduated with his bachelor’s degree in Journalism from San Jose State University in fall 2014.

Recently, he received the Community Builders Award from Work2Future and he was named 2017 KPRR volunteer of the year.

Anthony enjoys all types of music genres, staring at the sky and stars, reading poetry, and he is trying to read more about
Western and Eastern philosophy.

Michael Reisman

Director – School of Science and Technology – IT Specialist

Michael Reisman is the IT guy here at the college. He is also the Director of the school of Science and Technology, plus you might find him teaching a few classes too.
Michael has a background in broadcasting, electronic music production, as well as graphic design, art, web design, and computer science.

Matthew Lindsay

MATTHEW LINDSAY enjoys contributing his talents to classes including digital and visual arts, communications, science, language studies, film, and the arts. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Animation and Visual Effects and has acting experience which includes: working with children with differing abilities in stage rehearsal and performance, having Hollywood film credits on the International Movie Database for technical work on “Eleven,” and acting work on the web series “Hench” and the independent film based on “The Last of Us” video game titled “Trust.” He loves coming to work every day with his awesome students and fellow members of CAA’s SuperStaff!

Sharon Lea

SHARON LEA grew up in Los Altos and graduated from Chico State University. An English degree proved a wonderful founda-tion for her love of creative writing, poet-ry and self-expression on many levels. Liv-ing in Silicon Valley, Sharon spent over 20 years working in high-tech, medical de-vice, sales and customer service. She loves people and wanted to take a step out of high-tech and into what she calls a “heart-based” field. With passion and grateful-ness, Sharon delights interacting with CAA students and their families, considering it a true blessing in her life. In her free time, Sharon loves to sing, write poetry and play with her two kitties Lizzy and Emma.

Nicole Kim

NICOLE KIM is the Professor of the Speaking with Confidence class. She is an 11 year veteran of Toastmasters and has earned Distinguished Toastmaster certification. She has spent many years finding her voice and has a passion for helping others find theirs. At her daily gig, she works as a Senior Lead Producer at PayPal but her heart is forever with CAA. She lives in San Jose with her husband Stephen and four kids.

Laura Jones

LAURA JONES is one of CAA’s newest professors in the School of Dance. She has been a community dance leader in the Changeling Dance Theatre Company as well as Friends of Children with Specials Needs. She brings years of professional dance experience, and CAA is so very proud to welcome her to the Mountain Movers Family.
