Mid-Week Updates:

* This is Mid-Quarter break of Spring Quarter, 2017 – 
no classes take place this week.  Week 6 of Spring Quarter Break resumes next Monday, May 15.  

CAA Art Professor Deborah is offering a Beading Workshop:  Tuesday, May 9 (Mid-Quater Break)10:30 – noon, $10.

Site Purge-Out:  Tuesday, May 9 [Mid-Quarter Break] 2:30 – 5:30pm; come and help purge/e-recycle/revamp site; no student drop-offs; all students must come to work and come with a care provider. CAA’s old tables have now been spoken for; new ones are coming to the site Friday evening.  

Distance Learning (DL) Option is FREE to all CAA students: We’d like to recruit more CAA students to try out distance learning through Skype from home on the days that the tech guys are at CAA. Check out the schedule and email michael.reisman@collegeofadaptivearts.org if your student would like to try out distance learning – it is free & we need your feedback!

Latizmo Story Production: Saturday, May 20 at 6pm at Epiphany at the Methodist Church, Kirk road.  More detailed information forthcoming.

  • Saturday, May 13:  CAA Walking Team, 8:30am, Los Gatos Trail. 
  • Friday, June 9:  We Are Different. We Are Able. Community Art & Dance Performances, 11 – 2pm, San Pedro Market Square. 


Mission Moment: 

Pam and DeAnna received a Service to the Profession award this past weekend at the State Delta Kappa Gamma Women’s Educators conference.  The resounding message from all of the women leader educators from around the state was, “What an incredible need CAA is filling for adults with special needs.
